A Voice for the Wounded, A Leader for the Faith
"Minister Marty M. Alston, MDiv, is a minister, author and speaker who helps men and women recover from narcissistic abuse through faith. He wrote 'I Am A Man: When It Isn't Your Fault' and 'The Impact of Sexual Indiscretions in the Church At-Large'."
Minister Marty M. Alston is more than an author; he is a survivor and an experienced spiritual shepherd. Having served under seasoned ecclesiastical leadership, Marty developed a profound commitment to truth, restorative justice, and pastoral care. His theological training at Next Dimension University, culminating in his Master of Divinity in 2021, provided academic rigor to match his pastoral heart.
However, Marty’s most arduous qualification did not come from a classroom. It was forged in the fire of personal brokenness, betrayal, and the disorienting agony of narcissistic abuse. Facing isolation and weaponized spiritual narratives, Marty stood alone in the valley of trauma.
Rather than succumbing to bitterness or cynicism, Marty found profound restoration at the feet of Christ. God turned his mourning into a mission: empowering others to break free from psychological captivity and claim emotional and spiritual liberation.
Vengeance belongs to the Lord, but our healing is our responsibility. I thank God He kept my mind so I could help you find yours.
— Min. Marty M. Alston, MDivPublications & Advocacy
Through his landmark book "I Am A Man: When It Isn't Your Fault", Marty gives voice to male survivors of narcissistic and emotional abuse—a demographic too often silenced by stigma. In his companion release, "The Impact of Sexual Indiscretions in the Church At-Large", he confronts moral failure and institutional misconduct, outlining practical, scriptural blueprints for authentic church leadership accountability.
